World Press Photo House

In 2019 WPP moved to the splendid Westergasfabriek. The new ‘House’ brought new opportunities to enhance people’s perception of the institution.

It was a chance to build.

Inspired by the bricks themselves, the branding for WPP House took the simple rectangle - an existing asset - and put it to good use.

Redefined as a building block it becomes a frame for communication, a pixel to draw with or a piece in a pattern. It is a symbol for individual members of the community coming together to become part of the house as a whole.
